Demacia Cup 2024 Competition Format
The 2024 Demacia Cup will take place from December 16-29, 2024 in China. This year’s tournament will feature 20 teams, including LPL teams, the two champions and runners-up of LDL (China’s second-tier esports league), and the two champions of LGC (China’s semi-professional league).
The 2024 Demacia Cup is divided into two stages: the group stage and the playoffs. The 4 teams participating in the 2024 World Championship, including BLG, TES, LNG and WBG, will go straight to the quarterfinals. The remaining 13 teams will be divided into 4 groups. The top 4 teams in each group will enter the playoffs, the other teams will be eliminated. The playoffs will be played in a single-elimination format.
Group stage matches are played in Bo1 format, while playoff matches are played in Bo5 format.
